Customer reviews Spitfire Pilot A Personal ~ Probably the best written wartime published book on the Battle of Britain by a skilled writer who was a Spitfire pilot and ace with 609 West Riding Squadron in 1940 David was sadly killed in wartime but left an amazing vivid account of air combats the loss of friends in the squadron and tells also of the funny times off duty
